Cinematic aesthetics are everywhere right now, and I’m all for it.
There’s something about playing with light, shadows, and subtle tension that just clicks for me. But what I love most is crafting a story behind the stillness of a photograph.
Like this: a balaclava, a cigarette, a gun, and a silence heavy with unspoken threats. Every photo is a scene. Every scene makes you ask questions.
Again, maybe I've been watching too many movies.

So, these cinematic shots... what's the story?
In my vivid imagination, this scene plays out in a criminal organization's rickety old safe house.
They’ve just kidnapped the son of a very wealthy CEO for ransom.
We get to see everything from the son’s POV as he’s kept at this secret location, all while receiving unsettling looks from the balaclava-wearing man.
The air is thick with cigarette smoke.
The man doesn't speak much. He paces slowly, occasionally sitting down, glancing at his captive like he's debating something far beyond orders.
Tension builds, not just from the situation, but from the silence.
What happens next?
That’s up to your imagination.
